These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Chordality mobile app, website, and related content and features. By using Chordality, you agree to these terms.

Eligibility and Acceptance

You may use Chordality only if you can form a binding agreement under applicable law and comply with these Terms of Use. If you use Chordality on behalf of an entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

License

Subject to these terms, Chordality grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use the app and website for your personal or internal creative use. This license does not transfer ownership of the software, design, branding, or content.

App Store and Platform Terms

If you download Chordality through Apple or another app marketplace, your use may also be subject to that platform’s terms, rules, and policies. If these terms conflict with mandatory platform rules, the mandatory platform rules control for that issue.

Permitted Use

You agree to use Chordality only in lawful ways and not to misuse the service.

Your Content

You retain ownership of MIDI files, exported media, saved progressions, and other material you create with Chordality. You are responsible for ensuring that your content and your use of it do not violate any law or third-party rights.

Pro Features and Purchases

Some features may require a paid upgrade, subscription, or one-time purchase offered through a third-party billing platform. Pricing, billing, renewal, cancellation, refunds, and payment processing are generally handled by the platform or payment provider you use.

Availability and Changes

Chordality is provided on an evolving basis. Features may change, be added, be removed, or become unavailable at any time, including as part of maintenance, bug fixes, product decisions, or platform requirements.

Third-Party Services

Chordality may rely on third-party services and platforms, including app stores, device sharing tools, and hosting providers. Those third parties may have separate terms and privacy policies, and Chordality is not responsible for third-party services.

Intellectual Property

Chordality and its associated software, branding, visual design, text, and other original materials are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license above, no rights are granted to you.

Disclaimers

Chordality is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free performance, compatibility with every device, or that exported or saved content will never be lost.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chordality and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, business opportunity, or creative work arising from or related to your use of Chordality.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Chordality if you violate these terms, create risk or legal exposure, or misuse the service. You may stop using Chordality at any time by discontinuing use and deleting the app.

Governing Law

Unless otherwise required by applicable consumer law, these terms are governed by the laws applicable in Victoria, Australia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and publish the revised version here. Your continued use after changes become effective means you accept the revised terms.
